To make a milkshake…
Brent is the milkshake maker in our house – they are always sooo good. We don’t have them too often so it’s a really nice treat and the kids love the – Brent seriously makes the best!

Tonight he was out so I made them for the kids. What does it take to make a milkshake? Ice Cream of course, milk, and a little vanilla. Perhaps some fruit if you’re wanting something other than vanilla. AND, apparently 3 blenders. Yes, that’s right – THREE!!!
Now I imagine you are wondering why we actually have three blenders in the first place. Well it’s simple. I don’t know! lol – just kidding…we have our Bosch, but because I often make salad dressing and don’t often transfer it to another container, we needed another blender. But that one didn’t do an awesome job all of the time (ie with ice and stuff) so we bought another, equally inexpensive one which was great for a while. But both have now officially bit the dust – it’s pretty clear when the milk and vanilla start pouring out the BOTTOM of the blender that it’s time to RUN TO THE SINK!
Trust me, it was a sight.
So after two episodes of milk on the counter I decided to empty the dressing from the Bosch blender into another container and wash it out. Ahhh Success!
But seriously – THREE blenders. *sigh* Now we need another one, a *second shooter* if you will. In an ideal world we’d be getting a vitamix, buuuut that dream will have to wait.
So – any suggestions for a good and inexpensive blender? Though, let’s be honest, Brent will just tell me I’m going to have to stop keeping the dressing in our Bosch one. Men!
